Manuela Ferreira began her career as an early childhood educator and is currently a lecturer at the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Porto. She has conducted research in the area of ​​Sociology of Childhood. She defended her doctoral thesis in 2002. What we enjoy most here is playing with the other boys!, under the guidance of Professor Steve Stoer, already edited in essence, in book form.
