ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Nina Bunjevac

Nina Bunjevac was born in Canada, but grew up in the former Yugoslavia where she began her artistic training.
When the first conflicts broke out in the early 1990s, he returned to Canada and continued his studies: first at the renowned Art Center of the Central Technical School From Toronto, then at OCAD, Canada's oldest institution of higher education in the field of art and design.
In France, Nina Bunjevac is on display at Galerie Martel, in Paris. But his works have been published all over the world. In 2013, his first book was published, Heartless, which brings together seven dark and powerful short stories. In 2015, his second book, Fatherland, received praise from international critics – the New York Times He placed it on his list of best titles. In 2018, with BezimenaShe received the Artemisia Prize in France and was awarded prestigious prizes in Canada. Doug-Wright and Joe-Shuster.
