Ian Falconer

Ian Woodward Falconer (25 de agosto de 1959 - 7 de março de 2023) foi um autor e ilustrador americano de livros infantis e um designer de cenários e figurinos para teatro. Criou 30 capas para a revista The New Yorker, bem como para outras publicações. Falconer escreveu e ilustrou a série de livros infantis Olivia, que narra as aventuras de uma porquinha, uma série inicialmente concebida como prenda de Natal para a sua sobrinha. Faleceu de insuficiência renal a 7 de março de 2023 em Norwalk, Connecticut.
