Giorgio Agamben

Italian philosopher Giorgio Agamben was born in Rome in 1942. He graduated in Law, with a thesis on the political thought of Simone Weil, and is responsible for the Italian edition of Walter Benjamin's work. visiting professor in University of Verona and in New York UniversityHe refused to enter the United States of America in protest against the security policies of the previous US government. He currently teaches Aesthetics and Theoretical Philosophy at [institution name]. University IUAV in Venice.
