Donna Leon is an author who needs no introduction. Well known in Germany, Italy, the United Kingdom, Spain, the USA and Portugal, she is often compared to Agatha Christie, establishing herself as one of the best writers of detective novels, with the series starring Commissioner Guido Brunetti.
