This work covers the whole of Buddy Rich's life story from his debut on the vaudeville stage at 18 months old as "Taps, the Drum Wonder", through his tenure with Bunny Berigan and Tommy Dorsey, to fronting his own big band for 20 years and his billing as the "world's greatest drummer".
