Naomi Wolf

Naomi Wolf is an American journalist and writer who has distinguished herself through her political activism and social criticism. Her 1991 book, The Beauty Myth it was a bestseller international that challenged the cosmetics industry and the existence of unrealistic beauty standards. The The New York Times newspaper She considered it one of the most important books of the 20th century. She is a co-founder of The Woodhull Institute for Ethical Leadership, an organization that teaches young women to become leaders and agents of change in the 21st century and of The American Freedom Campaign, an organization focused on raising awareness among citizens for the protection of individual rights enshrined in the Constitution. He wrote essays for the The New Republic, The Wall Street Journal, Glamour and The New York Times newspaper and is one of the columnists for Project Syndicate, whose articles have been published in Portugal by the newspaper Public.
