Madrigal

He was born in Porto.
Poet, fiction writer, and journalist, he has participated in several International Book Biennials (São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro) and the Brasília International Culture Fair; in Portuguese Language and Literature Congresses organized by state and federal universities (University of São Paulo - USP, State University of São Paulo - UNESP, Pontifical Catholic Universities of São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro - PUC, Federal University of Rio de Janeiro - UFRJ, University of Campinas - UNICAMP, and Federal University of Pernambuco, Olinda). He also participated in the 1st Congress of Lusophone Literatures and the International Symposium on Women and Culture (Santiago de Compostela), the International Poetry Encounters in Strugga (Macedonia) and Yverdon (Switzerland), and the 1st Congress of American Literatures in Rio de Janeiro. She was invited by the São Paulo State Department of Education to participate in the celebrations of the 500th anniversary of the discovery of Brazil, where she is a member of the Lusíada Academy of Sciences, Letters and Arts.
At the "Memorial da América Latina," she received the Special Prize for Portuguese Literature from the São Paulo Association of Art Critics (APCA) in São Paulo, and the Diploma of Cultural Merit from the Brazilian Book Chamber (Brasília). In the USA, she was considered Woman of the Year, in 2001, and World Citizen, in 2002, by American Biographical and Research InstituteIn 2003, he was awarded the International Peace Prizeby The United Cultural Convention of the USA (International and Multicultural Organization).
