Colson Whitehead

Colson Whitehead was born in 1969 in New York. He studied at Harvard and began working at Village Voice Writing reviews of records, films, and books. Was a finalist for the Prize. PEN/Hemingway with her first novel: The IntuitionistHe has several published novels and a book of essays. The Colossus of New YorkShe was a finalist for the awards. Pulitzer, Pen/Oakland and PEN/Faulkner. With The underground road won the Prize Pulitzer and the National Book PrizeAmong many other distinctions, he is a professor at institutions such as Columbia University and Princeton University and has been honored with Guggenheim and MacArthur fellowships. His film adaptation is currently underway, directed by Barry Jenkins, the director who won an Oscar for the film. MoonlightHe won the award for the second time. Pulitzer - a feat rarely achieved in the history of American literature - with the novel The Nickel BoysShe lives in New York.
