James Douglas tells the story of the son of a Scottish plantation owner and a mixed-race woman who would become governor of the Colonies of Vancouver Island and British Columbia. Before Vancouver existed as we know it today, Douglass vision and drive laid the foundation for Canadas westernmost province.
