James Boswell: Unofficial War Artist

Boswell, a New Zealander who came to England in 1925 to study painting, was soon involved in the radical movement of the Left and became, throughout the '30s, its most vibrant artist. Part of the centenary celebration of Bosewell's birth, this book also includes a set of anti-war drawings done during his 1943 posting to Iraq.
