Michael Edward Palin is a comedian, actor, writer, and television presenter. Famous for being a member of the Monty Python group and for his travel documentaries, Palin starred in some of Monty Python's most famous moments, including... Dead Parrot, The Woodcutter's Song, Spanish Inquisition, among others. He also participated in several films, including A Fish Called WandaHaving won a BAFTA award, after Monty Python he began a new career as a travel writer. His journeys took him all over the world. In 2000, Palin became a CBE (Commander of the Order of the British Empire) for his services to television.
