He is the President of Teamwork Consultants since 1997 and a professional basketball coach for 38 years. A multi-champion in the Professional League and winner of other national basketball competitions, national coach for all men's levels of the Portuguese Basketball Federation, he distinguished himself nationally and internationally between 1978 and 1998 while coaching FC Porto for 17 years.
At TW Consultores, it has an institutional role and is responsible for the development and implementation of the respective methodology at a national and international level, particularly in the Iberian Peninsula and the African continent.
He holds a degree in Physical Education from the then National Institute of Physical Education (INEF) and a PhD in Philosophy (2022) from the Faculty of Arts of the University of Coimbra. He conducts seminars on Leadership and Management and Teamwork for top managers and middle and senior executives of companies and was responsible for the implementation in Portugal of... Coaching Individual and team-based companies, with close ties to the sports metaphor.
He has several specializations in the areas of Change Management, Executive Coaching and Winning coaching teams (respectively in the United States, Great Britain and Belgium).
