ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Dan Wells

Dan Wells was born in Utah, USA, in 1977. His parents were avid readers and connoisseurs of science fiction and fantasy; Dan saw Star Wars at four months old and his father read The Hobbit to him at six. It was then that he decided to become a writer and spent much of his youth reading, writing and learning everything he could about Literature - from Victor Hugo to Tolkien, from Dostoevsky to Neil Gaiman. He traveled extensively, worked as a copywriter for advertising and wrote reviews of video games and science fiction for specialized publications. He lives in Utah with his wife and children and dedicates himself to writing and video games with equal fervor.
