ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Maurizio Ferraris

Maurizio Ferraris (1956), philosopher and researcher, is a professor of Philosophy at the University of Turin, where he directs LabOnt (Laboratory of Ontology).
She has been collaborating with the newspaper since 2010. the Republic and is the director of Rivista di Estetica and co-director of Critique.
He was a student of Gianni Vattimo and considers himself to be influenced by Jacques Derrida.
His main research areas are hermeneutics, aesthetics, and ontology.
His extensive bibliography has been translated into several languages.
