ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Ezra Pound

American poet, translator, and critic, he was born in Hailey, Idaho, in 1885 and died in Italy in 1972. He was committed to fascism. His controversial poetic work influenced Joyce, Yeats, and T. S. Eliot, among others.
