ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Greg Rucka

Greg Rucka is a famous crime novelist and comic book writer. He is a fan of... comic books From a very young age, and after having worked in numerous jobs of all kinds, he achieved success with his series of crime novels starring... Atticus Kodiak, a bodyguard who invariably ends up solving crimes, and about whom he has written seven volumes to date. Rucka launched himself into comic books in 1998 with Whiteout, a crime novel set in a lost Antarctic base (with art by Steve Lieber), later adapted into a film. Throughout the following decade, Rucka worked primarily for the DC Comics, signing acclaimed phases of Wonder Woman or from the magazine Detective Comicsin addition to the series Gotham Central (co-written with Ed Brubaker), one of his best-known series. During those years he also wrote a sequel to Whiteout, as well as the series Queen & Country and Stumptownalways in Oni Press, who at the time published her own books independently. More recently, having continued to write for the DC Comics (returning a few years ago to Wonder Woman(for example), Rucka has also released several of his series on Image: Lazarus, Black Magick and Old Guard.
