ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Júlio Conrado

Júlio Conrado was born in Olhão in 1936. He lives in São João do Estoril. A writer and literary critic, he published his first book (short stories) in 1963 and his first literary essay in the national press in 1965 (Diário de Lisboa). He has scattered collaborations in... News Journal, Lisbon Daily, The Century, The Capital and RepublicFor several years he was responsible for the literary balance sheet in the newspaper. The CenturyHe practiced literary criticism in World Life, in the Popular Dailyno Journal of Letters and in the magazine Colloquium Letters, an activity that she still maintains in this latest publication. She coordinates the magazine of culture and thought, Mouth of HellFrom Cascavel. He is connected to the main Portuguese writers' organizations - the Portuguese Writers' Association, the Portuguese PEN Club, the Portuguese Center of the International Association of Literary Critics, and the Portuguese Association of Literary Critics. He has participated, with presentations, in congresses and meetings of writers held in Portugal and abroad. He has eighteen published books, of which we highlight...
