Backfire

A collection of seventeen Caribbean short studies compiled for use in secondary schools, and embraces both the old and the new of West Indian writing from the 1930s onwards. It also includes: "Backfire"; "Paradise Lost"; "Chung Lee"; "Give and Take"; "The Kite"; "Horace's Luck"; "Mama's Theme Song"; "The Teddy Bear"; "De Trip"; and "The Hustlers".
