Avengers Disassembled

Brian Michael Bendis is not only one of the greatest comic book writers of all time, but also one of the most influential personalities in the American comics industry. He began his career with noir crime titles and underground comics (e.g. Torso or Jinx, among others), and quickly began to write for the major publishers, where his more indie style and his modern and realistic dialogues soon earned him enormous fame. He was the great architect of the launch of the Ultimate line, and especially Ultimate Spider-Man, which would become one of Marvel's biggest hits in the early 2000s. His creation of Alias, as part of the more adult line of Marvel MAX, as well as the more than fifty issues of Daredevil that he wrote, were tremendously applauded and represent a true breath of innovation and originality in the superhero comics of the time. Since then he has become the main creator of Marvel's great sagas, one of a small group of writers who decide the direction of the House of Ideas universe, having signed such well-known sagas as Secret War, New Avengers, Secret Invasion, Age of Ultron and many others.
