Ali Smith
Ali Smith was born in Inverness, Scotland, in 1962, and currently lives in Cambridge.
Author of novels, short stories, plays and literary criticism, she has received some of the most important literary awards in the United Kingdom, such as the Baileys Women's Prize for Fiction, the Goldsmiths Prize, the Costa Book Award and the Scottish Arts Council Award. He was also a finalist for the Man Booker Prize several times.
