A coletânea que faz perceber o quão gigante e interligado é o universo do Sanderson, mas sem explicações complicadas. Cada história tem a sua própria vibe...algumas são mais emocionais, outras mais épicas e cheias de mistério, mas todas acrescentam algo novo aos mundos que já se conhecem dos outros livros. O melhor é ler os contos e novels aos poucos e ir interligando com os outros livros do autor. Existem personagens que já foram introduzidas anteriormente, lugares que foram mencionados e ideias que expandem o universo Cosmere.

Brandon Sanderson

Brandon Sanderson nasceu no Nebrasca em 1975. Atualmente, vive no Utah com a mulher e os filhos, e ensina Escrita Criativa na Brigham Young University. Sanderson assinou inúmeros bestsellers e recebeu, em 2013, o conceituado Prémio Hugo. Além de ter sido escolhido para dar continuidade à saga "A Roda do Tempo", de Robert Jordan, iniciou com O Caminho dos Reis o seu projeto mais ambicioso: "O Arquivo das Tempestades", já considerada uma das melhores séries de fantasia de todos os tempos.
