Peter Walther has edited numerous publications on contemporary literary, photographic, and historical topics, including books on Goethe, Fontane, Thomas Mann, and writers from the First World War, as well as several illustrated books with historical color photographs. He has also curated numerous exhibitions. He is particularly interested in early color photography techniques.
