Casada e mãe de dois filhos, adora viajar, em particular viver novas experiências e conhecer outras culturas, uma paixão que tenta transmitir aos seus filhos.

Saiu de Portugal ainda criança e viveu nos Estados Unidos da América e em vários países da Europa. Já conheceu muitos lugares, mas hoje, de volta ao seu país, é uma apaixonada por Portugal e por tudo o que é português. Este livro é o testemunho desta sua nova história de amor.

Trabalhou cerca de 15 anos no setor da comunicação e das relações públicas, primeiro em televisão e como produtora de documentários e mais tarde na área de brand marketing. Foicofundadora da Fusion Design de Interiores e, mais recentemente, criou a Young Explorers®.

Ao mesmo tempo, entre 2007 e 2011, foi presidente não executiva da HELPO, uma organização não governamental para o desenvolvimento que trabalha através do apadrinhamento de crianças à distância em Moçambique e São Tomé e Príncipe.
