Thomas Pynchon

Thomas Pynchon was born in Long Island, New York, on May 8, 1937. One of the most important authors in the history of American literature, he is the author of... v., The Auction of Lot 49, Gravity's Rainbow, Slow Learner, a collection of short stories, Vineland, Mason & Dixon, Against the Day, Intrinsic Vice, Bleeding Edge and Shadow Ticket.
