ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Delmar Domingos de Carvalho

He was born in Lisbon on July 19, 1939.
After attending four different primary schools, one in each class, where he was considered the best student, he attended the Figueiró dos Vinhos Secondary School from 1950 until the 5th year of high school, then went on to the Luís de Camões School in Lisbon, option e), to study Law, later studying Greek with a view to Historical-Philosophical Studies.
On December 27, 1965, he married Professor Maria Amélia da Conceição Martins Medeiros de Carvalho, a wonderful wife, also in the ideal of Rosicrucian Christianity, with whom he has 3 children who have all married, and currently has five grandchildren: Inês, Marta, Eduardo, João Paulo, and Margarida.
A proponent of lifelong learning, he obtained a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics in Spanish in 1972, and in the following years enrolled at the Free Faculty of Human Culture in Bordeaux, France, completing only the course in Naturopathic Biology.
He was part of the Administrative Commission of the municipality of Crato after April 25, 1974, having participated in several civic missions and defended the construction of a new EU as another UN, based on cosmocratic ideals, the creation of new supranational institutions, including the use of Esperanto, indispensable for solving the problems that have afflicted Humanity and other kingdoms for years.
He was involved with the Portuguese Ecological Movement, created in 1975, and was the founder of the Crato branch, with a panzoist vision.
His interest in spiritual values, music and other arts, as well as human rights, led him to produce several studies that have been published in various newspapers and magazines, and he has participated in numerous colloquia and given several lectures.
To train future teachers to teach.
His numerous articles published in various newspapers about tourism earned him the 1st "Fausto Figueiredo" Prize in 1987, in a competition promoted by the Estoril Coast Tourism Board. He also won a 1st Prize in the Floral Games of the International Literacy Year (prose) in 1990.

He is a founding member/director of several associations, including the Francisco Marques Rodrigues Institute, and has sought to encourage the creation of a Center for Paracelsian Studies, in a dynamic similar to that of Salzburg, Austria.
Among his many cultural initiatives, we highlight the various exhibitions he organized on "Bandstands" in several locations from Évora to Figueiró dos Vinhos; he was featured on the RTP1 program "A Praça da Alegria" in 1997; he organized documentary exhibitions on the 25th of April in Bombarral in 1996 and 1999; on Comenius in 1992; Paracelsus in 1993; the Strauss Dynasty in 1999; Bach in 2000; and Mozart in 2006. He is the author of the lyrics for the CCMB anthem.
In the field of Cultural Anthropology and Ethnography, he has several studies, some of which have been partially published in journals, serving as a source of information for postgraduate theses in Sociology and master's theses in Anthropology.
In photography, he has had numerous works published in newspapers and magazines in Portugal and other countries, including the USA; he has organized exhibitions, notably on the theme DISCOVERING BEAUTY AND LIGHT IN NATURE, with a catalog of his own authorship, full of ecological and philosophical messages, featuring 105 photos, which was shown in Bombarral, Caldas da Rainha, Externato da Benedita, Alcobaça and the Vila Real de Santo António City Hall; he won 2nd Prize in the theme "Defending Peace before it's too late" in the 1st Trevim-Lousã-1986 Competition and 1st Prize in the Photography Competition in Bombarral, on the theme: "Our People and Their Customs" and 3rd Place in the theme: "Free".
As a collector, among the various cultural themes, his collection of Illustrated Postcards, both in its structural and thematic form, deserved recognition in the CTT Collector's Club Magazine, No. 4, year 2002, also due to its strong didactic nature,... with the creation of an Illustrated Postcard Museum being one of his aspirations.
In the field of biographies, he has several studies, some almost complete, with unpublished data, on Comenius; on Paracelsus (4 volumes); and on Bach (3 volumes). Photocopies are located in various places in several countries from Europe to the Americas, and there are plans to organize them for publication.
As a member of the Rosicrucian School, which he joined in 1965, he appeared on the RTP2 program "ANDAMENTOS," debating the topic: "Music and the Rosicrucians."
