Meg Clothier

Estudou Literatura Clássica em Cambridge e passou um ano a velejar entre a Inglaterra e o Alasca. Após algumas reviravoltas tornou-se jornalista. O seu último trabalho foi para a Reuters, em Moscovo, depois voltou a Londres para se licenciar em Política Russa Pós-União Soviética.
Meg descobre Tamara ao escrever um artigo sobre a Geórgia e decide escrever um livro em vez de tentar arranjar outro emprego. Volta a visitar a Rússia várias vezes e, mais recentemente, em lua-de-mel. Meg gosta de montanhas, barcos, línguas e histórias de aventuras.
