Sarah Mlynowski was born in Montreal, Canada, and graduated with a degree in English Literature from McGill University. She worked at several publishing houses in Toronto until she moved to New York (where she currently lives) to dedicate herself to writing full-time. Spells & Sleeping Bags is the third volume in a series that began with Bras & Broomsticks and Frogs & French Kisses (also previously published by ASA under the titles Bikinis & Witchcraft and Frogs & High Heels). The series has achieved enormous international success and already has another title: Parties & Potions, to be published soon in Portuguese. When she's not writing, it's a given that she's trying to "activate" her magical powers… If she ever succeeds, she promises to cast spells for world peace, twelve months of sunshine a year, and more Star Wars movies…
