Michael Jacobs

Michael Jacobs, nasceu em Itália em 1952, é escritor de viagens e historiador da arte inglesa, vive na cidade de Frailes em Jaén desde 1999. Atualmente, é um dos hispânicos mais renomados da sua geração e recebeu o nome de "George Borrow" da era da alta velocidade. É autor de livros de viagens e arte e, além disso, De Alhambra a Timbuktu, o seu primeiro livro em espanhol, em Espanha, Andaluzia publicou (Penguin Books, 1990), Entre esperanças e memórias. Viagem espanhola (Picador, 1994) e A fábrica de luz (John Murray, 2003), dedicada à sua vida em Frailes. O seu último livro concentrou-se numa jornada pelos Andes.
