Daniela Sacerdoti é mãe e escritora. Nascida em Nápoles, foi criada numa pequena aldeia nos Alpes italianos e foi em Itália que fez a sua licenciatura em Estudos Clássicos. Foi depois viver para a Escócia, onde deu aulas e onde hoje ainda vive, perto de Glasgow, com o marido e os filhos. Os seus momentos preferidos para escrever acontecem quando todos se vão deitar, ou antes de acordarem. Adora estar em casa com os filhos, ler e conversar com os seus amigos, mas também gosta de estar sozinha, livre para sonhar e para criar as suas histórias.
