Alan Friedman

É jornalista, autor de vários bestsellers, personalidade televisiva, produtor e autor de documentários, além de nos últimos trinta anos ter sido correspondente estrangeiro em Itália do Financial Times, The International Herald Tribune, New Tork Times, The Wall Street Journal/Europe e da televisão italiana. Foi, também, colaborador da Vanity Fair e da New Yorker. Atualmente tem uma coluna de opinião no Il Corriere della Sera e no Die Zeit. Nos seus 14 anos de carreira como colaborador do Financial Times, Alan Friedman recebeu por quatro vezes o British Press Award (o equivalente britânico do Prémio Pulitzer). Único jornalista americano a receber a Medalha de Honra (1997) do Parlamento italiano, foi galardoado com muitos outros prémios de reconhecimento pelo seu trabalho sobre a Itália e a economia mundial. Alan Friedman nasceu em Nova Iorque. É casado e vive em Itália.
