Magnus Mills

Magnus Mills nasceu em Birmingham em 1954. Antes de se dedicar à literatura, foi montador de cercas no norte de Inglaterra e depois, durante doze anos, condutor de autocarros em Londres. A publicação do seu romance de estreia, O Curral das Bestas, constituiu um acontecimento mediático invulgar, reforçado pelo facto de o livro ter sido, em 1998, um sério candidato ao Booker Prize, o mais importante prémio literário inglês.
