In the desert ten miles west of Mesilla in the New Mexico Territory, Razor Sharp lay unconscious with his hands and feet tied and with a bloody rope around his neck. Buzzards circled overhead. The odor of Razor''s blood had brought them there and was waiting for the odor of death before swooping to the ground to devour their prey.Razor Sharp had been left there alive but to die.
