Brian Zahnd

Brian Zahnd é o pastor fundador da Word of Life Church, uma congregação cristã no coração da América, na cidade de Saint Joseph, no Estado do Missouri. É casado com Peri e têm 3 filhos.

Há trinta e um anos que a sua visão para a Igreja é no sentido dela ser uma autêntica expressão do Reino de Jesus num mundo pós-moderno. Brian Zahnd é conhecido por abraçar a longa e profunda história da Igreja e participar de todo o coração na missão de Deus para redimir e restaurar o Mundo.

Brian e Peri fundaram a Word of Life Church, no Outono de 1981, com um pequeno grupo de jovens, num antigo prédio de uma Igreja Metodista a qual, durante anos, lutou pela sua própria sobrevivência. Mas Brian empenhou-se em espírito de fé e de oração e a igreja começou a crescer, drasticamente. Hoje a Word of Life Church é uma congregação próspera, com um enorme número de voluntários apaixonados por Jesus, pelo seu Caminho e pela sua Missão.

Brian Zahnd é autor de três livros: «O que fazer no pior dia da sua vida», «Incondicional?», editados em Portugal pela Letras d'Ouro, e Beauty Will Save The World.
