C. G. Jung

Carl Gustav Jung (1875-1961) was a Swiss psychiatrist, psychotherapist, and psychologist who founded the school of analytical psychology. He was a prolific author, illustrator and correspondent, as well as a complex and controversial character, in some ways best known for his autobiography Memories, Dreams, Reflections.
Jung's work has been influential in the fields of psychiatry, anthropology, archaeology, literature, philosophy, psychology, and religious studies.
