Adrian Davies possui uma vasta experiência na indústria e no comércio nos sectores privado e público, tendo ocupado os cargos de administrador executivo no passado e mais recentemente o de administrador não-executivo. Actualmente é consultor de gestão especializado nas áreas de estratégia, marketing e administração, desenvolvendo a sua actividade no Reino Unido e a nível internacional. Foi Presidente da Startegic Planning Society e Presidente da European Strategic Planning Federation. Presentemente Adrian Davies realiza investigação sobre corporate governance e lecciona nesta ára como Professor Visitante da Universidade de Bournemouth. Licenciado pela Universidade de Cambridge, possui uma pós-graduação em Marketing pela Harvard Business School. É autor dos livros Strategic Leadership, The Strategic Role of Marketing e A Strategic Approach to Corporate Governance.
