Robert Fisk

Robert Fisk (1946–2020) foi correspondente estrangeiro no Médio Oriente e cobriu todos os conflitos da região desde 1976, incluindo os do Afeganistão, cuja invasão em 1980 noticiou, com reportagens no local. Foi o mais condecorado correspondente britânico no estrangeiro e indiscutivelmente o jornalista com mais conhecimento e experiência na região. Escreveu diariamente para o Independent e foi publicado em Itália (La Repubblica), Espanha (El País) e França (Le Monde), entre outros. Recebeu sete vezes o prémio British International Journalist of the Year e duas vezes o Amnesty International UK Press Award.
