This book pertains to the broader discipline of micropaleontology, presenting detailed taxonomic descriptions of deep water benthic foraminifera from the three Deep Sea Drilling Project (DSDP) sites. Brief notes on microhabitats of benthic foraminifera, biostratigraphy and their importance in understanding history of oxygen minimum zone and deep--sea circulation in the Indian Ocean during the Neogene have also been provided.
