My choice tells an episode in the life of a couple, Fanny, a Filipina, and Thomas, an American. Fanny''s heavy family past comes to haunt her: her ex-boyfriend, Marco, gets in touch with her to help her little brother, Rico, who is currently hospitalized. This, in a context where the members of Fanny''s family do not hesitate to accuse her of having abandoned them with their difficulties and their misery.
