Camille Laurens

Camille Laurens, nascida Laurence Ruel, em 1957, em Dijon, França, é um nome seguro e premiado da grande literatura francesa da atualidade. Formada em Letras, lecionou em Rouen e passou doze anos em Marrocos antes de ensinar no l'Institut d'Études Politiques de Paris. Foi jurada do prémio Femina e integra a Academia Goncourt desde 2020.
É uma autora vencedora do prémio Femina e, com o romance Menina, Nome Feminino, também publicado pela Cultura, finalista do prémio Goncourt. A Tua Promessa, o seu livro mais recente, foi vencedor do prémio RTL-Lire.
A globalidade da obra de Laurens está traduzida para mais de trinta idiomas.
