Jaume Cabré

Jaume Cabré is one of the most brilliant and award-winning European novelists of today. Born in Barcelona in 1947, he holds a degree in Philology and is a tenured professor of Language and Literature. His books have been recognized and awarded the most significant prizes by Spanish and international critics and are published in more than 30 countries. He is also a renowned author of numerous film and television scripts. His novels have been published by Tinta da China. Your Excellency (2007), The Voices of the Pamano River (2008) and I confess (2015), as well as the book of short stories When the Twilight Comes (2019). The writer was awarded the Catalan Literature Honor Prize in 2010 and the Catalan National Culture Prize in 2019.
