ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Martin Heidegger
Martin Heidegger (1889-1976), filósofo alemão, nasceu em Messkirsh, uma pequena cidade católica a norte do lago de Constância, em Baden.
Na Universidade de Friburgo, de 1909 a 1913, fez estudos de Teologia, Filosofia e Ciências.
A sua dissertação de fim de curso foi sobre A doutrina do juízo no psicologismo e demonstra o seu interesse pelas Investigações lógicas de Husserl, de quem foi assistente e amigo e a quem dedicou a redação da sua obra mais célebre, Ser e Tempo, escrita na sua pequena casa de Todtnautberg, na Floresta Negra, e publicada em 1927.
Depois de suceder a Husserl na cátedra de Friburgo, em 1933, quando os nazis tomam o poder, aceita o cargo de reitor da universidade, mas demite-se um ano depois.
A sua adesão ao partido nacional-socialista é objeto de controvérsias.
Suspenso das suas funções de professor em 1945 pelas autoridades das forças de ocupação, pronuncia conferências.
Vendo a sua influência aumentar progressivamente, foi readmitido em 1951 e lecionou até 1957 como professor jubilado.
