Minette Walters
Minette Walters, de origem inglesa, estudou francês na Universidade de Durham. Trabalhou como editora e redactora numa revista de ficção até se tornar freelancer em revistas femininas. Após ter sido mãe de dois rapazes, interrompeu a actividade profissional até 1987, data em que escreveu o primeiro policial.
