Clive Cussler

Clive Cussler (1931-2020) cresceu em Alhambra, Califórnia. Alistou-se na Força Aérea durante a Guerra da Coreia, onde cumpriu serviço como mecânico, engenheiro e técnico de voo. No regresso tornou-se diretor criativo em duas agências de publicidade multinacionais, onde ganhou vários prémios. Cussler começou a escrever em 1965 e fundou a NUMA (National Underwater & Marine Agency), uma organização não-lucrativa para investigação da História Marítima e Naval.
