Allan Ahlberg

Allan Ahlberg (Croydon, Inglaterra, 1938) e Janet Ahlberg conheceram-se num curso de formação de professores e casaram-se em 1969. Juntos criaram mais de 40 livros infantis, escritos por ele e ilustrados por ela, que recebeu por duas vezes a Medalha Kate Greenaway. Desde a publicação dos seus primeiros trabalhos, em 1976, que se tornaram autores de sucesso, com milhões de exemplares vendidos. Após a morte de Janet, Allan continuou a trabalhar, contando atualmente com mais de 150 obras publicadas, algumas delas ilustradas pela filha de ambos, Jessica Ahlberg.
