Paul Ricoeur

Paul Ricoeur (1913-2005) foi um dos maiores filósofos e pensadores franceses do Pós-guerra. Deu aulas em várias universidades (Estrasburgo, Sorbonne, Nanterre, Lovaina, Chicago) e escreveu uma obra vastíssima e polifacetada, com contribuições importantes para diversas áreas, das quais se destacam a ética, a hermenêutica, a fenomenologia, a psicanálise, a história, a teoria literária, a teoria crítica, a filosofia política e os estudos bíblicos. Dele, a Edições 70 publicou Teoria da Interpretação, A Simbólica do Mal, Discurso da Ação, Amor e Justiça, Vivo até à Morte, A Crítica e a Convicção, bem como Diálogo sobre a História e o Imaginário Social (com Cornelius Castoriadis).
