Não li I'm Glad My Mom Died (o outro livro da autora) e, sinceramente, ainda bem que não o fiz. Half His Age parece um livro de estreia. Não é um livro extraordinário, nem uma história que me tenha deixado de boca aberta, mas a escrita crua e direta prende-nos a cada página. Gostei. Recomendo vivamente que seja lido em conjunto com o audiolivro narrado pela própria autora, que acaba por transmitir muito bem aquela sensação de distanciamento emocional em relação a si mesma. Gostei do final. Gosto da escrita de Jennette McCurdy e vou certamente continuar a acompanhar o seu trabalho.
