Johann Chapoutot

Johann Chapoutot (n. 1978) é professor de História Contemporânea na Universidade Sorbonne. Especialista na história da Alemanha moderna, a sua obra distingue-se por uma demonstração rigorosa de como o projecto nacional-socialista deu continuidade a certas tradições reaccionárias inerentes ao desenvolvimento histórico da modernidade capitalista ocidental e do qual é também um produto. Galardoado com diversos prémios e professor convidado da Universidade Livre de Berlim (2015- 2106), é autor de La Révolution culturelle nazie (2017) e Le Grand Récit. Introduction à l'histoire de notre temps (2021).
