Cornelius Castoriadis

Cornelius Castoriadis (1922-1997). Depois de efectuar os seus estudos de Direito, de Economia e de Filosofia em Atenas, chegou a Paris em 1945. Co-fundador do grupo e da revista Socialismo ou Barbárie, autor dos principais textos que definem as ideias e orientação do movimento tornou-se o seu animador desde o início até ao fim (1949-1965). Foi economista da OCDE de 1948 a 1970, director de estudos na EHESS (1980-1995) e psicanalista (1973-1997).
