David Moore

David S. Moore graduou-se em Matemática pela Princeton University e obteve o título de doutor na mesma área pela Cornell University. Atualmente, ocupa a cátedra Shanti S. Gupta como professor emérito de Estatística na Purdue University, todas nos Estados Unidos. Foi presidente da American Statistical Association (ASA) e da International Association for Statistical Education (IASE). É membro do Institute of Mathematical Statistics (IMS). Recebeu o prémio nacional da Mathematical Association of America (MAA) pela excelência no ensino superior de Matemática.
